Class of 2021 Regular Decision Notification Dates

As we draw closer to the middle of the spring semester, college across the country are working hard to get through hundreds of thousands of college applications to the class of 2021 in order to deliver regular admission decisions by the end of March. We've compiled a comprehensive list of admission decision dates for 2017 here. The Ivy League has signaled that its common regular decision release date for the class of 2021 will be March 30, 2017. The class of 2021 had an interesting college admissions experience, with changes that included the launch of the Coalition Application in the summer of 2016 and the redesigned SAT implemented in March of 2016. Most early decision notification dates have passed, and for those who applied early decision or early action this year the competition was stiff, with some colleges reporting slight dips in early admissions rates from the year before. The application cycle for the class of 2021 also saw an increase in applications at some of the country’s top institutions, with Harvard University, Yale University, Tufts University, and more reporting record-high application numbers. Most colleges aim to have regular admission decisions ready by March 31 or April 1, but many choose to release admission decisions once they’re ready, which can sometimes be a week or two before the standard decision release date.
